Anticipated Secondary Math Teacher:   The Gideon School District is accepting applications for an secondary math teacher for the 2024-2025 school year.  Applicants must demonstrate the ability to implement lesson plans, foster an environment conducive to learning, have at least a bachelor degree in an appropriate area or be able to secure appropriate certification before the start of the 2024-2025 school year, and have a background check that meets district and DESE requirements. The Gideon School District is accepting applications for Bus Drivers.  Among other things, applicants must have a clean driving record, pass a background check, and have or be able to secure a CDL with school bus endorsement. Applicants must be available on short notice and available to drive evening and weekend activities as needed. For consideration, complete the support staff application and submit evidence of school bus endorsement or willingness to secure a school bus endorsement.

1.-- The Gideon School District is accepting applications for Substitute Teachers. This is a part-time, as needed position. Applicants must demonstrate the ability to work with children of a variety of ages, implement lesson plans, have a minimum of 60 college hours, hold or be able to secure a substitute teaching certificate, and have a background check that meets district and DESE requirements (background check completed within the past 12 months -- if more than 12 months, a new background check is required). Applicants must be available on short notice and be available for early morning calls.
